Privacy Policy

PooperScooperAI is a service of Pineland, LLC (Pineland Technologies), 1335 Country Club Dr, Marion, IA 52302. In this policy, "we" means Pineland, LLC, "you" means the business that signs up and the people it gives a login to, and "your customers" means the leads and clients you reach through the service.

For your customers' information we act as your service provider: we process it on your instructions to run the service for you, and you decide what is collected from them and why.

• Your account: your name, email address, a password (stored only as a one-way hash) or your Google sign-in, your role, and your business's name, address, phone number and settings.
• Billing: your plan, invoices and usage. Card details are taken and held by Stripe; we never see the full card number.
• Texting registration: the business details the carriers require to register your brand and campaigns, such as your legal name, EIN, address and a contact person.
• What your connected accounts share: from Jobber, your clients, properties, jobs, visits, quotes, invoices, products and services, and timesheets; from Facebook, your Pages, lead form entries and ad spend; from Google, ad spend, Analytics reports and Search Console data. Only what you allow on their sign-in page, and only for the accounts you pick.
• Your customers' messages and details: names, phone numbers, email addresses, yard addresses, what they asked for, the texts and emails exchanged with them, and their consent and opt-out records.
• Use of the service: sign-ins, pages opened, questions asked of the assistant with their token counts and cost, and logs our hosting provider keeps for security and debugging.

• To run the service: answer leads, make quote pages, send the texts and emails you or your settings ask for, sync Jobber, and show your reports.
• To bill you for the plan, the texts you send and the AI you use.
• To keep the service secure, find faults and fix them.
• To tell you about your account, your bill and changes to the service.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your data or your customers' data to advertise to anyone. We do not use it to train AI models, and the AI provider we use does not train on it either.

The lead assistant, Ask and Write With Ask send the relevant part of a conversation and your business settings to Anthropic's Claude models to draft a reply, a message or an answer. Anthropic processes it to return that result under its commercial terms, which exclude training on it. Every draft is recorded with the conversation, and you can run the assistant in draft mode, where nothing is sent until a person sends it, or turn it off.

Texts are sent and received through Twilio on numbers registered for your business. Mobile opt-in data and consent records are never shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing. A customer who replies STOP is opted out at once, and HELP returns your contact details.

These providers process data on our behalf, each only for the service it provides:

• Vercel (hosting) and Neon (the database), in the United States.
• Twilio (texting) and Resend (email delivery).
• Anthropic (the AI models behind the assistant).
• Stripe (payments and billing).
• Jobber, Meta and Google, when you connect them, under the access you grant on their own pages.

We keep your account data and your customers' data for as long as your account is open. If your subscription lapses, sending and syncing stop but nothing is deleted, so you can come back to it. When you close your account and ask us to delete it, we delete your data within 30 days, except billing records and consent records we must keep by law.

Data travels over encrypted connections. The access tokens your connected accounts grant are encrypted at rest. Each business's data is kept separate from every other business's, and staff logins see only their own business.

• You can disconnect Jobber, Facebook or Google at any time, from the service or from their own settings.
• You can see, correct, export or delete your data by emailing us.
• Your customers can ask you, or us, to see or delete what is held about them, and can opt out of texts by replying STOP. We will help you answer any such request.
• Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under state law; email us and we will honor them.

The service is for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their information.

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will email account owners before the change takes effect and update the date above.
